RDAbbott Expands 3M Advanced Materials Distribution to Canada: RDAbbott has signed a new distribution agreement with 3M to expand its distribution of 3M Advanced Materials to Canada. This new agreement will be facilitated and managed locally by RDAbbott’s Canadian division, RDAbbott Canada, Ltd., based out of Burlington, Ontario, in the Greater Toronto Area. The agreement became effective on July 1, 2021, and covers fluoroelastomers; perfluoroelastomers; and FKM curatives and process aids.

RDAbbott Celebrates Fred Hammers’ 50+ Years in the Rubber Industry

CERRITOS, CA – January 5, 2022 – R.D. Abbott Co., Inc. (RDAbbott) is honoring Manfred “Fred” Hammers, a Senior Account Manager whose 50+ years career ended with his retirement on December 31, 2021, after 18 years with the company. Fred joined RDAbbott as a Technical Service Representative in 2004 after spending many years in the rubber, latex, and adhesives industry as a Technical and Production Manager. Fred’s colleagues and former co‐workers recently shared their memories of him in a tribute that attests to his professional knowledge and personal character.
